Hania Othman

Hania Othman is the Director of Sustainable Impact for EMEA at the HBAR Foundation — the organization helping to drive the adoption of the Hedera network. Hania’s background encompasses technology, finance, biodiversity, carbon markets, and digital assets. In her current role, Hania is helping to establish a sustainable economy on Hedera through the HBAR Foundation. She has a particular interest in emerging fields at the crossing of innovation and sustainability such as biodiversity. Hania worked on enabling biodiversity credits, developing the skill set to bridge science, sustainability, and traditional finance. Operating at the convergence of science, sustainability, finance, and technology, Hania is an expert in bringing these three fields cohesively together. Hania brings unique insights and experience to The HBAR Foundation’s Sustainable Impact Fund, to support investment and due diligence for the adoption of the Hedera network.
