Director of Ecosystem
Sarah Ashley Baxendell believes that ecological design and technology will catalyze climate change action. She is the designer and founder of Hilltop Urban Farm, the largest urban farm and first adult urban farm incubator in the US. Sarah spearheaded master plans for 625+ acres of urban parks and vacant land in the City of Pittsburgh. She currently leads the blockchain ecosystem at Regen Network, and advises the Blockchain Infrastructure Carbon Offsetting Working Group.
Since 2013 Sarah has raised $35M+ for climate impact projects. She speaks on topics such as regenerative design, technology and climate change on NPR and Bankless podcast. Sarah is the co-founder of the North American Permaculture Convergence, co-founder of Occupy Wall Street Sustainability Working Group, and former Senior Sustainable Development Director at Citizens Relief NYC.
